Papoose shares a video of himself getting a tattoo of Claressa’s name following Remy Ma’s diss track

The rapper spoke out three hours ago, using a tattoo machine and an Ed Sheeran song rather than a verse.

Papoose has tattooed Claressa Shields’ name on himself and shared the video on Instagram, marking his first action following Remy Ma’s release of “Wanna Go.

The ink reads Claressa. He selected Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and accompanied it with a tribute to the artist, tagging Kwon. Doe for bringing the art to life, tagging Claressa, and including hashtags for tattoo and ink life.

The timing is what defines the narrative. Papoose has responded to this entire situation with silence and documentation. When Remy released “W.Y.F.L.” in April, he chose not to respond through music. On April 18, his attorney, Shelley Albert, issued a cease and desist letter requesting that she remove the record. Remy never removed it, continued to perform it, and then released “Wanna Go,” a song centered on resale, clearance racks, and hand-me-downs.

He finally replied. Not with bars. Using ink.

Claressa already has his name tattooed near her right breast, which she proudly displayed at a weigh-in last July and confirmed on Instagram Live in October, playfully suggesting she should have gotten it twice. Now it works in both directions.

There is a fight scheduled for tonight. Claressa is set to face Kaye Scott at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, returning to middleweight to pursue the WBA and WBC belts. Whether the ink was synchronized with the fight, the song, or both, it coincided with the same day as everything else.
