Davido Meets French President Macron in Paris to Discuss “Visions For A Better World”

Davido shares “visions for a better world” with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Grammy-nominated Nigerian musician Davido met Thursday at Paris’ Élysée Palace.

On his Instagram page, Davido posted pictures of the private meeting, which was attended by intimate friends and family members such as businessman Cubana Chief Priest and manager Asa Asika.

The musician wrote in the caption of his photo, “It was an honor meeting @emmanuelmacron and sharing our visions for a better world,” even if he did not provide all the contents of the conversation. He also used a video conference to introduce the French leader to his wife, Chioma.

The meeting takes place soon after his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, named Davido Chairman of the Osun State Sports Trust Fund. Through youth involvement and business investment, the project seeks to revitalize the state’s sports industry.

Davido’s latest appearances further solidify his developing reputation as a cultural ambassador, fusing diplomacy, philanthropy, and entertainment to promote Nigeria internationally.
