Tom Holland is not running for James Bond because of the terms of his Spider-Man contract
James Bond won’t be replaced by Tom Holland.
It has been suggested that the 29-year-old actor may take Daniel Craig’s position as 007, but according to reports, his Marvel contract prohibits him from accepting any roles that would conflict with his primary role in the Spider-Man films.
The Sun’s Bizarre section featured an informant who stated: “Tom can’t play two superheroes, it just won’t happen.”
In the past, Holland expressed interest in portraying Bond and said that getting the part would be the “pinnacle” of his career.
“Listen, there’s speculation at the moment,” he stated in a YouTube interview with Gordon Ramsay about the rumors. We’ll limit it for the time being. We’ll arrive there eventually.
The Hell’s Kitchen actor continued to press Tom on the matter.
“Can you picture what your life will be like if you do?” he said. You would adore that opportunity, first of all, wouldn’t you?
“I mean every young British actor, it’s the pinnacle of working in our industry,” Tom retorted. I already believe I am the luckiest child on the planet. My current career is something I could never have imagined having.
In April of next year, Denis Villeneuve’s 26th Bond movie will begin production at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. The screenplay, which is being written by Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, will focus on the threat posed by artificial intelligence (AI).
