Tiwa Savage says she’s open to be a second wife in a polygamous marriage

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage says she is amenable to having a second marriage because she values maturity, respect, and having few other relationship options.

45-year-old Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has expressed her willingness to take a second wife in a polygamous union. In a podcast interview on October 14, 2025, the singer mentioned the difficulty in locating mature, suitable guys, particularly those in their 50s who are frequently already married.

When there is reciprocal respect, especially from and for the first wife, Savage, who divorced music mogul Tunji “Teebillz” Balogun in 2018, stated that she is more receptive to relationships with pre-existing dynamics.
