Taylor Swift Releases Documentaries for Her Eras Tour
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour will be the subject of a documentary series coming out in December.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The End of an Era, a six-part series, will premiere on Disney+ on December 12. That same day, a new concert film called Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, which was shot in Vancouver at the end of the record-breaking concert series, will also be released.
The show, which was announced on Good Morning America, will be “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.” It will include “performers, family members, and friends,” such as Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch as guests and opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter.
On December 12, the first two shows will come out. The next week, two more will come out, and the following week, the last two will come out.
Although the album with the same name hadn’t come out before Taylor’s previous performance film, fans will be able to see some of the Tortured Poets Department material that was added during the tour.
After the news came out, a 99-second teaser trailer for the documentary came out. The singer of “Crucel Summer” also officially mentioned the projects on her social media pages.
According to what she wrote, “We knew it was the end of an era.”
“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the end of the most important and intense part of our lives, so as the tour came to an end, we let filmmakers record all the stories that were told during it. And to record the whole final show.
