Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez won’t be having a “romantic reunion”
For these two, the third time won’t be lucky.
It appears that Jennifer Lopez has no intention of rekindling her relationship with Ben Affleck after their divorce.
Affleck attended his ex-wife’s latest movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, in latest York City earlier this month to show his support. But as speculation of a potential reunion began to swirl, an insider told PEOPLE, “Jennifer is doing well.” Her priorities are her family and her career since they provide her joy. There isn’t a romantic reunion with Ben, but she has always appreciated working with him.
“They’re in a really good place,” the person continued. They still help each other out. Both of them take pride in their joint accomplishments.
The affair between Affleck and Lopez started shortly after they first met in 2002. That following year, they became engaged, but by January 2004, they had called it quits. Between 2004 and 2014, she married Marc Anthony. Between 2005 and 2018, Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner, with whom he had twins, Max and Emme. Together, they have three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
Following a two-month engagement, the “All I Have” singer and the Gone Girl actor got back together romantically in 2021 and were married in July 2022. She filed for divorce in August 2024 after he left their shared residence. January 2025 saw the finalization of the separation.
Affleck did give his former high marks for her Kiss of the Spider Woman performance. “I wanted to empower great artists and tell moving stories and create opportunities for these kinds of great stories to be told and to work with the best directors in the world and the best material,” he said, describing her as “incredible.” We did all of that in this film, and it is a privilege to be here.
