Jennifer Lopez Stands Up for Bad Bunny Amid Backlash Over the Super Bowl

Celebrity Jennifer Lopez asked people watching the Super Bowl to “give Bad Bunny a chance.”

There has been criticism of the Puerto Rican rapper because he performs in Spanish, but now the singer of “On the Floor” has defended him and said Bad Bunny’s lack of English lyrics “doesn’t matter.”

Speaking on CBS Mornings, she said, “Art and music go beyond language.” It doesn’t matter. He’s probably done that more than anyone else in his age.

It’s great that the Super Bowl lets you meet new people. People probably didn’t know me or Shakira or weren’t fans of us.

What they said when they saw us, though, was ‘Oh! In that case, they do it. This is your chance to show people who you are, what you stand for, and what you’re about. People who are artists can use it a lot. Probably the biggest stage you could ever want to be on. The fact that people who don’t know him will now be able to see him is great.

She told people not to shut themselves off from “something wonderful.”

Furthermore, “Don’t hurt yourself in that way.” That is what I would say. “Just give it a chance,” I tell you.

Celebrity singer Jennifer Lopez recently talked about how “amazing” it was when Bad Bunny showed up during her Super Bowl performance.

“Absolutely amazing time with Shakira, J Balvin, and me,” she said on TODAY. It was an unforgettable culture event…

I’m so happy for him. I’m excited to see what he does after seeing him act with us at the Super Bowl. He’s very impressive. He’s a remarkable performer.

Prior to this, Bad Bunny promised not to bring his tour to the US because he was worried that immigration officials would be outside of his concerts because of President Trump’s crackdown on the problem.

Furthermore, Trump administration officials have said that NFL executives will feel bad about picking the Dakiti singer for the halftime show at the California game.

According to Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, “They stink, we’ll win, God bless us, and we’ll stand tall and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day.” They are so weak that they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they think. We’ll solve the problem.

That job belongs to the Department of Homeland Security. Being responsible for making sure everyone goes to the Super Bowl, enjoys it, and then leaves is what America is all about.

According to Trump’s advisor Corey Lewandowski, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will be at the Super Bowl no matter what Bad Bunny thinks.

“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally,” he told The Benny Show.

“Nowhere but the Super Bowl.” You will be found, arrested, detained, and sent back to your home country. Unlike what used to happen, that is a very real problem under this government.
