Halle Bailey’s first record as a solo artist will be out later this month

The 25-year-old Little Mermaid actress, who gained notoriety as one half of the Chloe x Halle duet with her sister Chloe Bailey, has revealed plans for her debut solo album.

Her album Love? Or Something Like It will be published on October 24th, she stated on Wednesday, October 8, 25.

“Love? or something like it – my debut album,” she posted on Instagram.

“A tale of first love, heartache, and all the things that follow.” out on October 24. This one is really important to me.

The singer and Hollywood celebrity tells the start of her narrative in a video that she posted to her fans while wearing a crimson tulle outfit.

“There once was a young girl who believed in love,” she explains. She thought that everyone was a soul-for-soul belonging to someone. Finding the purest kind of love was all she ever wanted in life. Was it ever feasible? And this is what transpired.

Along with his collaboration with Leon Thomas on Rather Be Alone on the Heel deluxe edition of his Mutt LP, Halle released the solo tracks Braveface and Back and Forth earlier this year.

She released The Kids Are Alright in 2018 alongside her sister Chloe, then two years later, Ungodly Hour.

Halle has stated that they are still working together on music, despite the fact that her sibling has already produced two solo albums: 2023’s In Pieces and Trouble in Paradise.

“My sister and I are very, very excited to work on our new album together, as well as just let these amazing solo projects come out for both of us,” Chloe told POPSUGAR as she was ready to release her debut LP.

The sisters are the strongest advocates for one another.

“This journey has been a really beautiful one,” she said, referring to their individual single endeavors. I consider my sister to be my arm because we are so close. She is also my staunchest ally. I am her staunchest ally.
