Reasons Supporters Believe Rihanna Selected “Irish” as Her Daughter’s Middle Name
There may be something going on with the Rihanna Navy.
On Wednesday, September 24, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made the long-awaited announcement of the birth of their daughter.
The loving parents of three gave their daughter the name Rocki Irish. Since her middle name honors her late grandfather, many fans assumed that her first name was a clear reference to her father’s stage name.
Wasn’t Rihanna’s father partially Irish? It appears that her baby’s middle name is a tribute to him. One person tweeted after the announcement, “Sweetheart.” Another admirer attested to the fact that the singer’s Irish heritage is the source of the Fenty name.
Earlier this year, Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, passed away. The Bajan mogul talked about her father the next month, despite their tense relationship. She hinted that although Fenty never got to see his grandsons, Rih had an ambition of doing so.
Because of [my] favorite aspects of my dad, I’ve always imagined what kind of grandfather he would be to them,” she said to Entertainment Tonight. To be honest, it helped me be ready for having two boys. I want to raise children to be daredevils, daring, and outside-the-box sides of myself. They should be outside, in the great outdoors. No babies who take tablets.
She thought about how she spent her “barefoot,” “free and wild” youth and hoped to preserve it for her kids.
Despite not revealing their daughter’s gender, Rih and Rocky prayed for her, admitting that they occasionally “slipped up” in secret. However, the rapper told ELLE, “I think it’s going to be a girl.” This pregnancy differs greatly from the other two. From the experience, you can tell. Man, I hope the baby is a girl. That’s what I need.
