Offset wants her to “pay for [his] taxes,” according to Cardi B.
Financial disputes are reportedly impeding the 32-year-old rap artist’s divorce from Offset, which she filed for more than a year ago.
“The only reason I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay their taxes,” Cardi stated on a livestream.
“Are you curious about the tea? Even though I pay my own taxes, I have to pay someone else’s and give them one of my properties if I want to leave my marriage. I’m going to fight for that. There is no love s*** here. I will continue to live my life.

“I’m practically still married because I’m on a contract, and if I don’t give them millions of dollars to get out of it, someone [wants] to hold me hostage,” she stated.
Cardi B earlier said that she had been “partying hard” following her breakup with Offset.
The artist acknowledged that she went out to parties “a lot” to distract herself from her relationship issues.

Cardi, who wed Offset in 2017, made a conscious effort to avoid dwelling too much on her personal issues.
“You have to just live a little bit after you have a break-up, you know what I mean?” the Bodak Yellow hitmaker stated.
“You overthink that situation and it’s like … that might fry you again if you’re in the house, even if you work and get that money.” That could make you sad in addition to making you angry. That could make you feel down. That could lead you to make foolish choices, such as hitting up your ex or anything similar.
