Diamond Platnumz Issues a Warning About Wasting Women’s Time and Money

Can we ever trust a celebrity’s counsel on commitment in this age of highly publicized relationships?

Tanzanian celebrity Diamond Platnumz has sent a daring message to young men, asking them to reconsider their financial and romantic decisions.

The musician cautioned in a message on his Instagram stories that pursuing several ladies merely wastes money and impedes advancement.

“You won’t succeed in life by wasting your money on different girls and treating your body disrespectfully. Diamond wrote, “I’m not sure when you guys will be wise.”

In addition, he urged men to settle down rather than lead careless lives. He continued by saying, “Find yourself one or two girls and settle down, highest three girls, or if you’re going through a lot, four is okay.”

Reactions from Fans

Online responses to Diamond’s remarks were not quite unanimous. His decision to mature and mentor the younger generation was commended by some fans.

Others criticized his suggestion that it was still appropriate to have up to four women. “That’s bad advice, bro. Just do music,” they said. One user left a comment.

Many agreed that his warning was true despite the criticism: self-control, attention, and smart decision-making are necessary for success.

An Account of Past High-Profile Connections

Many people are surprised by Diamond’s statement because of his own well-known romantic past. His love life is one of the most followed stories in East Africa because he has been connected to a number of well-known women over the years.

Most recently, a lot of people have been interested in his relationship with Zuchu, a WCB Wasafi musician.

In June 2025, Diamond reportedly paid dowry to Zuchu’s family, after multiple public splits. However, it is unclear if this was a genuine commitment or a PR hoax.

Between 2018 to 2020, Diamond dated Kenyan singer and media personality Tanasha Donna before to Zuchu. After giving birth to their son, Naseeb Junior, in October 2019, the couple parted ways months later because their priorities didn’t align.

Additionally, he has a son named Dylan with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, with whom he had a love relationship from 2016 until 2018.

Their time together coincided with his relationship with reality personality and Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan, with whom he has two children, Prince Nillan and Latifah.

After accusing him of infidelity, Zari broke their relationship in 2018, although they still have a close co-parenting connection.

Early in his career, Diamond was associated with Wema Sepetu, a well-known Bongo film star, and Tanzanian actress Jacqueline Wolper. His personal life and public character were influenced by both relationships as he rose to stardom.

Since his romantic life has long been a topic of discussion, his most recent counsel is unexpected and thought-provoking.
