Megan Thee Stallion files a motion to have DJ Akademiks appear in court for defamation

Thee Stallion is still on the attack following her shooting event in 2020.

DJ Akademiks is being sued by Megan Thee Stallion to reveal the name of the anonymous source who sent him sealed court documents related to the rapper Tory Lanez shooting incident in 2020.

The action is a part of Megan’s continuing civil lawsuit against Milagro Gramz, a YouTuber from Texas, whom she claims collaborated with Lanez in a concerted attempt to expose her.

In 2022, Akademiks, who has consistently questioned Lanez’s role in the shooting, disclosed underhanded legal details regarding DNA evidence discovered on the incident’s weapon.

When that happened, the disputed documents were sealed. In July 2020, during a fight, Lanez shot Megan in the foot. He was eventually found guilty and given a 10-year sentence in California state prison.

DJ Akademiks has now been asked to testify and disclose who provided him access to the sealed documents by a judge in a motion filed by Megan’s legal team.

Speaking firmly in an August meeting with her attorney, Akademiks said he would “never reveal” his source unless compelled to do so “under a court order.”

In the civil action, Milagro Gramz, whose true name is Milagro Cooper, is accused of starting “a years-long campaign to smear and intimidate.”

The Megan. The lawsuit also claims that Gramz “consciously coordinated” with Lanez to harm Megan’s reputation and that she was “compensated thousands of dollars to post false information about Megan.”

The focus of Megan’s legal approach as the case progresses seems to be exposing the purported network of people she feels attempted to damage her reputation throughout the well-publicized case. It is unclear whether Akademiks will be forced to testify by a judge.
