Angelina Jolie Says, “My Family Is International” Amid Reports That She Wants To Leave The United States

Angelina Jolie’s home transcends the borders of the United States of America, if home is where family is.

The actress recently discussed the political situation in the United States, recognizing that the nation is currently in a very precarious position.

According to reports, Jolie has been “eyeing” a number of places overseas and intends to leave the United States.
Although Angelina Jolie loves her country, she does not acknowledge it.

During a press conference for her new movie, “Couture,” Angelina Jolie was recently questioned in San Sebastian.

When asked to discuss the present state of American politics, the 50-year-old celebrity admitted that she had to choose her words carefully because the subject was delicate.

It’s a really challenging question. I must admit that I adore my nation, even though I don’t now recognize it,” she remarked.

The Academy Award winner went on to say that she has family in other countries besides the United States and that she is not unfamiliar with living overseas.

“I’ve lived abroad all my life. My relatives are from other countries. My viewpoint and my life are equal and connected. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she continued, “I think it’s very dangerous anywhere or anything that restricts or divides personal expressions and freedoms [for anyone].”

She must be “careful not to say things casually,” Jolie said. “These are very, very heavy times,” she remarked, without specifically addressing the nation’s current situation.

According to reports, Angelina Jolie intends to go overseas.

Jolie’s remarks coincide with rumors that the celebrity is trying to find a new place to call home.

According to a source who spoke to The Blast, the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” actress, who has lived in Los Angeles for more than ten years, is currently “eyeing several locations abroad” and will be “very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles.”

Jolie has not disclosed the location of her new residence, although it is likely that she will settle in Southeast Asia. She had previously stated that she would be spending “a lot of time” in Cambodia and has always been outspoken about her passion for the country.

Had it not been for her divorce, Angelina Jolie would have left Los Angeles much sooner.

According to reports, Jolie has been desperate to find a new residence for some time. She supposedly put off the relocation, though, because of her protracted divorce from Brad Pitt.

The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actress has never been a big admirer of living in Los Angeles, according to a source. But it was simpler for her to remain there while she and her ex-husband worked out custody issues.

The actress is preparing to list her highly valuable Los Angeles mansion for sale in addition to her alleged plans to move. Although the home’s current valuation is unknown, Jolie paid $24.5 million for the six-bedroom, ten-bathroom house in 2017.

According to reports, the actress was thinking of writing a candid book about her conflict with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

There are other stories circulating besides Jolie’s purported plans to leave the United States. The actress reportedly considered writing a book about her conflict and traumatic divorce from her 61-year-old ex-husband.

Jolie and Pitt were married in 2014 after dating since 2004. After splitting up in September 2016, they were embroiled in a contentious legal dispute for almost eight years, which ended last year.
