Her post, characterized by sharp language, sparked a flurry of candid reactions from social media users regarding her position on the issue.

Tamera Mowry-Housley Criticized for Her Remarks on Those ‘Celebrating’ Charlie Kirk’s Death

Mowry-Housley has become the most recent celebrity to address the tragic incident involving Kirk, who was shot and killed during a speaking event at Utah Valley University earlier this week.

Kirk, known for his significant online presence and provocative views on contentious topics such as women’s rights, marriage, and DEI, faced numerous critics—many of whom have shown little interest in his passing.

Mowry-Housley had a message for them, taking to her Instagram Stories to condemn anyone “celebrating” Kirk’s death as “demonic.”

The post failed to elicit the response she probably anticipated. In response, users across different social media platforms started to push back, igniting further controversy.

Social media users express their annoyance regarding Mowry-Housley’s post concerning Charlie Kirk.

On Instagram, a user responded to Mowry-Housley, informing the “Sister, Sister” actress that they were not “celebrating” Kirk’s murder.

“We simply don’t care,” they added.

Another user expressed a similar sentiment and also referenced Kirk’s previous remarks on “empathy.”

He expressed his disdain for empathy, so what reason do we have to extend any towards him? He made terrible remarks about Black individuals, yet we are expected to show compassion. “I have no strong feelings either way,” the user continued.

“There are no celebrations happening,” another commenter noted. “Individuals are simply not offering a gesture of kindness towards a man they are fully aware would not reciprocate if the situation were flipped.”

Stacey Dash Shares Thoughts on Charlie Kirk Shooting

Additionally, Mowry-Housley is not the sole Hollywood figure denouncing individuals who share a similar perspective. In a recent video, “Clueless” actor Stacey Dash delivered a heartfelt message, urging the public to reflect on how such reactions might affect Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, and their two children.

What seems to be the issue with you? That one can commemorate the passing of an individual.
Users responded to her message in a manner akin to Mowry-Housley, with one remarking, “Girl, you’ve been CLUELESS… next.”

Country Singer Brings Fans Together at Concert

Providing a unique viewpoint, country singer Gavin Adcock addressed Kirk’s passing, encouraging the audience at his latest concert to chant “Charlie Kirk” while waving an American flag.

Every single one of you in this place tonight is loved by Jesus. Charlie Kirk is with Jesus. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and prayers tonight before you head to bed. As you settle down, whether alone or with a loved one, take a moment to offer prayers for those who are in need. I value each and every one of you. “I wish you a safe journey home,” he said into the microphone.

Adcock also conveyed a message on Instagram, stating that Kirk’s voice was “not silenced” despite his murder.

“His voice resonates with unprecedented strength and will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.” “There is nothing anyone can say to improve this situation, but my thoughts and prayers are with every individual affected by this terrible tragedy,” he expressed.

The singer concluded the post with a verse from the book of Psalms, stating, “You who love the LORD, hate evil!” Hate safeguards the lives of his divine followers and delivers them from the grasp of the malevolent.
