Bacary Sagna, a former Arsenal player, confesses his admiration for Meddy’s music

Bacary Sagna, a former defender for France and Arsenal, has stated that he enjoys the music of Meddy, a Rwandan R&B artist residing in IS, whose song Burinde Bucya is still his favorite.

On Friday, September 5, the 20th edition of the Kwita Izina ceremony was held in Kinigi, Musanze District, and Sagna was one of several prominent people from around the world who attended.

According to the Frenchman, he frequently plays Meddy songs on repeat and has a number of them stored on Spotify. The song Burinde Bucya is my favorite. In my car, I play it repeatedly. “Emotions are everything,” Sagna said Igihe.

He also mentioned other Meddy songs that he frequently plays, including Ntacyo Nzaba, Downtown, Lose Control, and Closer.

Sagna was seen at a barbershop in Kigali that was run by Karim Nzabonimana, a Rwandan hairdresser who works in Dubai. He is well-known in his line of work as Boss Karim, whom Sagna frequently meets while he is in Dubai and whom he refers to as a buddy.

“I needed my hair fixed, so naturally, the first thing I did when he messaged me was to find time to come and take care of this.”

Sagna, whose parents are from Senegal, praised Kigali’s friendliness, saying it made him feel at home.

“I am African myself, to start with, but I am really impressed by how everyone has treated me here,” Sagna remarked.

“I visited Volcanoes National Park and saw the animals there.”
