Mo’Nique Talks About The Only Way She Can Stay Away From Tyler Perry For Good

“Until he fixes it, I will not stop, because that’s how the monster is created.”

For many years, Mo’Nique has made it clear where she stands with Tyler Perry and hasn’t shied away from any chance to voice her complaints. She did, however, disclose in a recent interview the only way she will permanently end the feud.

More than ten years ago, Perry called Mo’Nique “difficult to work with” after she failed to fly out for an appearance during the 2009 Precious press run, which sparked the public rivalry. Mo claims the rumors have cost her millions of dollars in lost opportunities, which is why the conflict is so deep. His “lie has cost me 12 years of my career,” therefore she has continued to put pressure on him about his behavior ever since.

The Parkers actress discussed her reasons for continuing to pursue Perry and what it would take for her to put the past behind her in a recent interview on the Outlaws With TS Madison podcast. I won’t stop until he repairs it because that’s how the monster is made. The 57-year-old performer stated, “I’m just not going to say anything because we’re too scared and worried that you’re going to take something from me.” She went on to say that she feels compelled to speak for the other victims of Perry’s conduct as well as any potential future victims.

She went on, “I’m saying, ‘Tyler Perry, you won’t do this to another,’ as long as I can.” You lied, therefore I’ll do it as long as I can. I don’t have to fix it because you seem to have a God complex. You will either be dealt with in death or you will correct it in life. But until you accept responsibility and make the necessary corrections, I won’t leave. My family suffers as a result of you guys messing with my livelihood. So I won’t back down until they fit it.

She brought up her experience with Lee Daniels, who publicly apologized to her in 2022, when asked how she would like the dispute to be settled. She insisted that the director of Diary of a Mad Black Woman apologize as loudly as possible because the harm was made public.

You must now publicly make amends for publicly embarrassing me. My family lost millions and millions of dollars because of you, Tyler Perry. Additionally, she noted, “It’s a lovely thing to tip someone $3,000 or to give them $400,000 because their house burned down.” “Those are admirable actions. But you are aware of what you did to Mo’Nique, a Black woman. “We see what you’re trying to do, but you can’t fool us,” the universe is saying as it observes all of that. Furthermore, I don’t think I’m alone.

Mo’Nique reaffirmed, “Yes, and I say that unapologetically,” when Madison inquired explicitly if she desired a public apology and monetary compensation. You admit that what you did to me was improper on tape.

Mo’Nique wrote Perry an open letter in March of this year explaining why she believed many of his behaviors were still hypocritical. She criticized him for allegedly promising her a public apology in 2016 and said, “Where’s the restitution for that?” The “false narrative you perpetuated helped blackball me, costing me tens of millions.” Check out the post below.
