Having Italian ancestry on his mother’s side, the 57-year-old presenter, who has three children—Katie, 33, Kevin, 31 with ex-wife Gina Maddy and Jane, 11; and Billy, 8 with spouse Molly McNearney—sought to establish formal ties to Europe because he is dissatisfied with the US under Donald Trump’s administration.
He stated on The Sarah Silverman Podcast: “I do have Italian citizenship is something I have.
“What’s happening is, well, it’s far worse than you anticipated.
It’s simply inconceivable. In my opinion, it’s likely even worse than [Trump] would like.
The host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! feels that the public should “welcome” anyone who have changed their minds about Trump after earlier endorsing his reelection.
He remarked: “There are many people. In these clips, Joe Rogan asks, “Why is he doing this?” People shouldn’t be deported by him. People say things like, “F*** you, you helped him.” I don’t believe that. I don’t think “F*** you, you helped him.”
