Nicole Scherzinger might be in a new Sunset Boulevard movie
Nicole Scherzinger is the star of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s proposed Sunset Boulevard movie.
Nicole, 47, just finished playing Norma Desmond in the highly anticipated Broadway revival of Lloyd Webber’s beloved musical, and the two are hoping to collaborate once more to bring the production to the big screen.
“Andrew wants to make the movie with Nicole,” a source told The Mirror. After the Broadway run, he senses that the momentum must be used.
Given the years he has fought for it, Andrew will be delighted to feel as though this is closer than ever.
According to Andrew, Nicole and the ensemble have the potential to revive musicals at the Oscars. People seem to forget that Les Misérables and Chicago both had huge box office success and won numerous accolades.
In addition to winning Best Director for Lloyd, Best Lighting, Best Sound, Outstanding Musical Contribution, and Best Musical Revival, Nicole had earlier won Best Actress in a Musical at the UK’s Laurence Olivier Awards.
Additionally, it was a big success at the Tony Awards, where Nicole took home the Best Actress in a Musical trophy.
Nicole, meanwhile, recently said that she would like playing the part again in a film adaptation.
“There has been some talk,” she said to The Hollywood Reporter. I’m currently manifesting that dream since it’s mine.
