Pusha T said he will never work with Kanye again on Wax, saying that’s in the past

The Clipse rapper is being honest about his former label partner and CEO of G.O.O.D Music. Warning: they will not be getting back together.

Pusha T is adamant about ending her business relationship with Kanye West.

It appears that whatever business the controversial rapper had with his former Clipse musician and labelmate from G.O.O.D. Music is no longer there, even if he acknowledged that he missed their friendship. Whether in or out of the studio, Pusha has reiterated that he has no intention of getting back together with Ye.

He stated in an interview with The Gaurdian, “Yeah, that’s in the past.” “That is unquestionably the past now.”

On a more upbeat note, though, he did reminisce about the songs he and West created together when they were friendly.

He remarked, “Being there was special, just as a rap aficionado.” Making “So Appalled” and “New God Flow” were two of my favorite things to do. Additionally, the G.O.O.D. Friday series was insane. The albums I released at that time, such as It’s Almost Dry and Daytona, are really, really good. Needless to say, Ye and I achieved amazing things together.

The release of Let God Sort Em Out, Clipse’s first album in almost 20 years, has been praised by both hip-hop fans and reviewers, so if anyone was wondering what Push would do outside of his collaboration with Ye, all qualms were allayed. The album was the number one independent album when it was released and debuted at number four in the Billboard top 100. Music industry insiders have also commended the two for reverting to conventional album releases following years in which musicians have eschewed actual promotion in favor of surprise drops.

It was undoubtedly a cultural moment when a rap group successfully brought together old and new fans with bars over buffoonery, despite the fact that hip-hop and music in general were changing.
