Egypt’s annual urban consumer price inflation decreased from 14.9% in June to 13.9% in July, according to figures released on Sunday by the statistics office CAPMAS.

Prices for food and drink in cities increased 3.4% from July 2024 but decreased 3% overall from June 2025.
