Beyoncé begs her mother to limit her social media posting

The 43-year-old superstar’s daughters Blue, 13, and Rumi, 8, have joined her on her Cowboy Carter world tour. Her proud mother Tina Knowles can’t resist posting pictures and videos of the family moments online, even though the Crazy in Love singer, who also has Rumi’s twin, son Sir, with husband Jay-Z, has asked her not to.

Tina stated, “I’m still crying,” in an interview with Kate and Oliver Hudson on their Sibling Revelry podcast. I still think, “This is unbelievable.”

When Blue and Rumi come out, I’m yelling louder than anyone else—not so much for me as for them.

“I’m the biggest supporter. Beyoncé will say, “Mama, can you not post so much?” after I publish twenty-five videos and then I get a call. I mean, come on, when will you ever stop posting? You are overdoing it.

The 71-year-old grandmother, however, stated that she will never become “jaded” by her daughter’s success and that she still finds her profession “really exciting.”

“It’s still really exciting for me, and I never want to be jaded about it or take it for granted,” she stated.

“I simply consider how fortunate we are to have a strong interest and see it blossom into something like that. I don’t take anything for granted, really. Never.

Tina recently issued a warning about the “difficulties” that arise when parents and kids start a business together. Tina also has a daughter named Solange with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles.

She told Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, during an interview with the Confessions of a Female Founder podcast: “There are challenges sometimes because if you’re dealing with your child or you’re dealing with your mother, you know, you have disagreements.”

“I’m the one that gives in the most. That’s how I’ve been since I was a child. I can’t handle it if my kids are upset with me. I will apologize.

Tina was a hairdresser and salon owner in Texas before Beyonce’s prominence, but it wasn’t until 2024 that she convinced the Single Ladies hitmaker to co-found the haircare company Cécred with her.

We have been talking about it for years and years and years, but she simply wasn’t interested in pursuing another business because in her younger years she was totally focused on her singing, her skills, and everything else. It has always been a dream of mine, and Beyonce has always been a big dream of hers, she said. It required considerable persuasion.

She finally agreed, “Okay, we can start on it,” when I added, “I’ll work on it, we can work on it together.” I didn’t want to work alone. I simply felt that, for once, I didn’t want to work so hard at this stage of my life. Even though I ended up working hard, it has been a labor of love.

Despite wearing wigs frequently and performing under intense lighting, Beyonce has maintained her hair’s beauty and health, which is no small feat in the entertainment industry.
