GloRilla was arrested on two felony drug charges during a break-in at her Atlanta home

GloRilla’s home in metro Atlanta was broken into, and she is now facing drug accusations.

After turning herself in at the Forsyth County Jail, the rapper—real name Gloria Hallelujah Woods—was taken into custody on Tuesday, July 22 and charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule I controlled drug.

Channel 2 Action News was informed by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office that about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to GloRilla’s residence. Investigators continued by saying that three individuals entered the house without Woods’ presence and were apprehended taking items after being shot at by someone inside. Investigators don’t think any of the burglars were hurt as they fled.

Law officers launched an investigation around the house after detecting a significant narcotics stench, according to their statement. After obtaining a search warrant for her residence, task force agents found a “significant amount of marijuana” in the master bedroom closet.

GloRilla was released the same day she paid a $22,260 bond after turning herself in at the Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday.

According to Billboard, Sheriff Ron Freeman said in a statement, “We are committed to bringing the suspects to justice because the homeowner is a victim of a serious crime.” “In all facets of this case, we must simultaneously continue to enforce and uphold the law.”
As of Thursday, no arrests had been made in the burglary case, and no suspects had been named by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
