Well-known DJ Kaneda Earns a Master’s Degree in Music from Berklee

The well-known Kenyan female DJ Kaneda received a Master’s degree in music from Berklee College of Music, a famous institution.

Supported by images from the graduation ceremony, the jockey, who also works as a sound designer and music producer, announced the news on social media. The caption read, “You may now address me as Master.”

Highly regarded for her intense performances and sets, Kaneda has performed at a variety of events, such as Fortnite tournaments, DJ sets at clubs in Nairobi, and a LEGO club. In particular, she is well-known for performing at Beneath The Baobabs Festival, Duos Cash Cups, and FNCS competitions. She has performed at the Alchemist, Geco Cafe, and Ngong Racecourse. To further demonstrate her versatility as a performer, she was featured at a LEGO party. 

Kaneda’s shows are renowned for showcasing unexpected performers and frequently include well-known songs from the 2000s and 2010s. She is also connected to the “WhineDown” event, where she pulls out surprise guests and plays a fast-paced musical mix. 

In Boston, Massachusetts, there is a private music school called Berklee College of Music. This is the world’s biggest independent college of contemporary music.
