In November, Morocco’s yearly inflation rate rises to 0.8%
The country’s statistics office said on Friday that the yearly inflation rate in Morocco rose from 0.7% in October to 0.8% in November, based on the consumer price index.
Consumer prices dropped 0.2% from October to November.
The biggest thing that caused inflation, food prices, went up 0.8% from the previous year. Inflation in other areas also went up by 0.7%.
It was up 0.2% month-to-month and 2.6% year-to-year when you take out volatile things like food from the measure of inflation.
This year, inflation is expected to average 1%, down from 6.1% last year.
