Livigno slopes will be the first destination for Milano-Cortina 2026

The slopes that will be used for mogul and aerial competitions have been inaugurated as the first finished location for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, thanks to Livigno.

With 26 gold medals to be given out in the town, the Livigno Aerials and Moguls complex at Carosello 3000 is expected to be a major location during the Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 Infrastructure Company CEO Fabio Saldini hailed the facility as “safe, sustainable, and cutting-edge” and referred to the ribbon-cutting as a “path forward.”

The Olympic Village and the “Livigno Snow Park” were among the other building sites that Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini and other officials visited. In anticipation of the “one year to go” milestone in February 2025, preparations are speeding up.

“The Olympics are in Livgno. Luca Moretti, president of Livigno Next, declared, “We are prepared to host the world.” “This municipality is committed to making every effort to be ready to host the most significant event. I can’t think of a greater way to demonstrate who we are, our devotion to sport, and the Olympic spirit than when I see the magnificent scene that will unfold on February 6, 2026, with the Olympic venues welcoming the whole community.”
