Veteran NTV Journalist Rita Tinina Found Dead in Her Kileleshwa House

The body of the famous journalist was found in her Kileleshwa house in Nairobi on Sunday, March 17.

Initial reports show she was presumed to be on duty at NTV, where she worked, but failed to show up, set off bosses to go to the house where her dead body was discovered. Her family was present as police entered to pick up the body and moved it to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

The source of her death is however unidentified. NTV verified the heartbreaking news, stating Tinina’s family had asked for privacy as they grieved the expert journalist. “Celebrated NTV journalist Rita Tinina dies at her Nairobi home; family requests privacy during difficult moment,” NTV stated.
