$7M cable project to power Kalangala and Buvuma Islands

In one month, residents and businesses in Kalangala district and Buvuma island will have the access to electricity from the national grid, thanks to a $7 million submarine cable project. Small business owners are excited about the initiative, part of the Rural Electricity Access program, led by Industrial and Commercial Company Ltd.
