Morocco is the last African team to exit the World Cup following their defeat to France

Morocco was the final African team to leave the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following a 2-0 loss to France in the quarterfinal match held last night in Boston.

Following a first half without goals, during which French captain Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty, the team rallied in the second half. Mbappe found the net in the 60th minute, and Ousmane Dembele secured the victory just six minutes later.

France is set to face the winner of the match between Spain and Belgium in the semifinal on Tuesday.
