Bayern Football Club signs German defender Nathaniel Brown from Frankfurt

Bayern Munich has signed German defender Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt on a five-year deal that runs until 2031.

Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt have sold their defender Nathaniel Brown to Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old signed a five-year deal that will keep him with Bayern Munich until June 2031.

Brown said that playing with Bayern was a dream come true and that he was proud to play for one of the best teams in the world.

This is one of the world’s best clubs. “Being able to play for this club makes me so proud! It means a lot to me,” he said.

Max Eberl, Bayern’s sports director, stated that the club had been monitoring Brown for some time and believes that his rapid growth, versatility, and performance at the World Cup justified the move.

Eberl said, “We’re thrilled to have brought Nathaniel Brown to FC Bayern.” “He has grown so quickly, but he still has a lot of potential and is a player for the future.” He showed why we’ve been interested in him for a while at the World Cup… He will give us more choices in defense and midfield.

Brown moved from Nuremberg to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2024. He played in 75 league games, scored seven goals, and set up 13 others over the course of two seasons.

The German-American has played for Germany eight times as a senior since his start in October 2025 under Julian Nagelsmann. He scored his first goal for Germany against Curaçao in a 7-1 win, and he further impressed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a series of outstanding performances.
