Indian Prime Minister Modi is set to embark on his inaugural official visit to New Zealand next week
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced on Friday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make his inaugural official visit to New Zealand next week.
The two nations finalized a free trade agreement in April, which will remove 95% of tariffs on goods originating from New Zealand.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit marks a significant moment, as it is the first by an Indian Prime Minister to New Zealand in 40 years,” Luxon stated.
