Dubai is set to host the African Marketplace in 2026. In October

A three-day event will highlight African and Caribbean innovation, culture, fashion, technology, and investment opportunities in Dubai.

African Marketplace (AMP) is poised to make a highly anticipated return for its second edition from October 10–12, 2026, at the esteemed Conrad Hotel Dubai, building on the success of its landmark debut in 2025.

The three-day event will once again bring together some of the finest products, services, creatives, and innovators from Africa and the Caribbean, linking them with global buyers, investors, policymakers, distributors, and cultural enthusiasts in one of the world’s most strategically connected trade capitals.

African Marketplace serves as a pan-continental trade and cultural platform aimed at highlighting the best export-ready brands, SMEs, and innovators from Africa and the Caribbean. It empowers these entities to expand internationally, access investment opportunities, and attain global significance. African Marketplace 2026 will highlight the vibrant heritage of Africa and the Caribbean while also presenting modern innovations in fashion, furniture, art, cuisine, music, technology, wellness, and intellectual capital.

In discussing the announcement, a statement referenced the Founder of African Marketplace and the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy (IALA), Ibukun Awosika, who remarked: “African Marketplace 2025 was proof of concept.” What the world observed in Dubai was not merely potential; it was excellence fully realized.

In 2026, we will advance even further. We are expanding upon that foundation with increased scale, a more defined commercial focus, and a resolute assertion that Africa and the Caribbean are not waiting to be discovered. We have arrived. We are prepared for the global stage. We are constructing our own tables. “Dubai is a place where we welcome the world to discover our true identity,” she added.

Through carefully curated exhibitions, business networking, investment discussions, cultural showcases, and strategic partnerships, African Marketplace consistently establishes itself as a premier platform linking Afro-Caribbean excellence with global opportunities. AMP transcends a mere exhibition; it functions as a commercial gateway and cultural platform, fostering significant opportunities for trade, investment, collaboration, and cross-cultural exchange worldwide.

As the platform expands annually, AMP continues to dedicate itself to creating a sustainable ecosystem where commerce, culture, innovation, and identity intersect.
