Ye has faced bans, cancellations, and exclusions, with New Delhi being the most recent city to withdraw from his 2026 global tour

The most ambitious concert booking in India this year has officially fallen through. On Friday, organizers White Fox announced the cancellation of Ye’s May 23 show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, citing security advisories from Indian government and law enforcement authorities. TMZ has reported that Indian officials have expressed concerns regarding possible terrorism threats in and around the capital.

White Fox issued a statement on Instagram conveying their disappointment regarding the recent decision: “We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye Live in India, scheduled for May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially cancelled following security advisories and directives issued by the concerned government and law enforcement authorities amid the current high-alert situation in the capital.”

The organizers stated, “After months of planning and preparation for what was poised to be one of the largest live productions ever attempted in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India continue to be our top priority.”

The show has now been canceled for the second time; it was initially set for March 29, 2026, but faced delays due to geopolitical tensions and broader regional issues. Ticketholders will be issued complete refunds, and a source informed TMZ that the concert is set to be rescheduled for October.

The collapse in New Delhi marks another event in a tumultuous year for the artist previously recognized as Kanye West. After the UK government prohibited his entry and the cancellation of London’s Wireless Festival, performances in Poland and Switzerland were also called off. In the aftermath, Ye issued a full-page apology in the Wall Street Journal in January 2026, met with a Jewish human rights organization, and publicly acknowledged his complete responsibility for his previous antisemitic comments. A promoter in Albania is moving forward with a show, intending to construct a temporary venue with a capacity of 60,000 seats for the event.
