Joe Budden labels Tony Hinchcliffe a “Racist Piece of S**t” following an outrageous George Floyd joke at a Kevin Hart event

Joe Budden referred to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe as a “racist piece of s**t” and raised concerns about his presence at the event.

Joe Budden is addressing the recent roast controversy head-on. On his podcast, Budden passionately criticized Tony Hinchcliffe’s comedy set from the recent Kevin Hart Netflix Roast, particularly highlighting a George Floyd joke that quickly drew backlash online.

Joe was straightforward about his feelings. He referred to Hinchcliffe as a “racist piece of s**t” and raised concerns about why he was permitted to attend what he characterized as a Black event honoring Kevin Hart in the first place. The former rapper stated that the matter extended beyond a single punchline. He noted that the energy shifted long before anyone mentioned George Floyd.

“Joe remarked that the Kill Tony George Floyd joke was terrible.” “I found it unsettling to see Kev smiling during it, even if that’s just his game face.”

Budden also highlighted another instance during the set when Hinchcliffe made a joke about resembling a slave master, compelling enslaved individuals to perform musicals. Joe acknowledged that the first joke received laughter but noted that the situation intensified when Hinchcliffe performed it physically while directing his actions towards an area where Black guests were present.

“Someone ought to give him a good talking to,” Budden remarked during the rant.

The controversy surrounding the roast is intensifying online, as social media users find themselves divided between those who support edgy comedy and those who argue that certain subjects should never be used as punchlines, particularly in spaces dedicated to honoring Black entertainers. As of now, Kevin Hart has not made any public statements regarding Joe Budden’s comments.
