Tank Responds to Critics Dismissing Chris Brown’s New Album: “Show Some F***ing Respect!”

R&B veteran addresses internet trolls for masking hate as opinion during the “BROWN” era.

The launch of Chris Brown’s new project, “BROWN,” has ignited a lively discussion online about the ways in which fans express their opinions.

In response to the surge of negative energy aimed at the album, R&B veteran Tank chose to intervene. In an extensive response on Instagram, the singer highlighted the delicate balance between expressing an opinion and being disrespectful towards creators.

Tank highlighted that although artists welcome feedback, the internet frequently resorts to harsh criticism rather than constructive conversation.

“Artists make art that is personal to them and present it in the best way for you to enjoy.” We value the affection and encouragement, but we also recognize the importance of constructive feedback. The issue is that many of you provide harmful criticism. You conceal your disdain for ‘opinion.’

The singer of “Maybe I Deserve” highlighted the irony in anticipating that celebrities would remain unaffected by personal attacks. He encouraged the public to keep in mind the human aspect of the recording process.

“Picture putting forth your utmost effort, only for someone to approach you and declare, ‘I dislike your work completely.’” What is your initial reaction? Do you believe it is reasonable for us, as human beings, to simply accept that and move forward? Haha! While I appreciate his humility in this moment, he doesn’t owe you that! Love it or hate it, show some respect! Exhibit a sense of morality or simply strive to be a decent human being while expressing your opinion! All we artists seek is the same respect…

In addition to defending Brown’s character, Tank firmly supported the quality of the music itself. He observed that the visuals and promotion for this era have been exceptional.

“I believe this album represents some of CB’s finest work!” “From music to visuals to promo, this man is excelling in every moment like I’ve never witnessed,” he wrote.

When asked about his continued vocal support for the “Under The Influence” singer, Tank emphasized that the loyalty is mutual.

“Someone asked, ‘Why do you support Chris so fiercely?’ I replied, “Because he supports me just as fiercely.” Embrace the #BROWN era!…

As discussions about the album progress, Tank’s message acts as a call for a higher level of critique within the music community.
