Lil Fizz Discusses Personal Growth and Responsibility After Publicly Apologizing to Omarion for His Relationship with Apryl Jones

Lil Fizz joined Cam Newton on the “Funky Friday” podcast to discuss his previous actions concerning his former groupmate, Omarion.
In the discussion, Fizz spoke about the controversy linked to his previous relationship with the mother of Omarion’s children and highlighted his intention to fully accept responsibility for the consequences.
“I want to take responsibility for everything that occurred,” Fizz stated. He conveyed to Newton that regardless of how the situation unfolded in public, he never meant to inflict pain on Omarion. I never intended to cause Omarion any pain. My intention was never that.
Fizz disclosed that a private reconciliation occurred during a performance in Los Angeles, allowing him to confront the situation directly.
“In LA, we shared a moment on stage where I was able to apologize to him directly,” he stated. In that exchange, Fizz clearly expressed his regret regarding his connection with Omarion’s former partner. “I expressed my apologies for the situation that occurred with his child’s mother.” I took responsibility for it. It was an authentic conversation.
The dialogue underscores a change in Fizz’s viewpoint since the peak of the conflict. He noted his growth and commitment to transcending the conflict. “I have evolved since that time, and I desire to progress in a constructive manner,” he articulated.
