NBA Star Miles Bridges Says Ex Staged “Campaign Of Terror” and Tampered with His Car Before Restraining Order
Miles Bridges, a forward for the Charlotte Hornets, has received a temporary restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, Mychelle Johnson, following allegations of harassment, cyberstalking, and intimidation outlined in a series of dramatic court filings.
A North Carolina judge has ordered Johnson to stay at least 500 yards away from Bridges, his residence, and Hornets facilities, as detailed in court documents obtained by TMZ. The order additionally directs her to refrain from contacting or harassing Bridges or his current girlfriend, Shara.
The lawsuit pertains to an alleged occurrence at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center during a Hornets game. Bridges asserted that Johnson “abandoned” their four children with a nanny prior to allegedly driving to the arena while intoxicated and subsequently checking into a nearby hotel. He additionally claimed that she positioned an accomplice in the hotel lobby and subsequently concealed herself behind his parked vehicle in the arena garage, attempting to “tamper with its tires while he was on the court playing for the Charlotte Hornets.”
Bridges said Johnson “knew those kids were in that car” and “didn’t care” when he was in the arena.
The NBA player further alleged that Johnson engaged in a campaign of cyberstalking in the subsequent days. The petition states that Bridges claimed she utilized a false phone number to send him his own home address, intending to intimidate him. He also asserted that Johnson reached out to his attorney while masquerading as another woman who supposedly was pregnant by him, leading his legal team to organize a paternity test before discovering the allegation was untrue.
In the filing, Bridges characterized Johnson’s actions as “a calculated campaign of terror by a mother who would forsake her infant and children … and will go to any lengths to carry out her vendetta.”
Johnson has yet to make a public statement regarding the allegations or the restraining order.
