Cam’ron Teases Diss Track Aimed at Dame Dash, Introduces “Dusky Dance” Challenge with Cash Prize to Publicly Embarrass Him
Cam’ron has officially concluded the ongoing dispute with Dame Dash, which was previously addressed through interviews and Instagram posts, by choosing to address the issue through his music. On Monday afternoon, the Harlem rapper announced on Instagram that a new diss track aimed at his former Roc-A-Fella boss would be released at 5 p.m. EST.
Ultimately, the song was released, officially titled “Dusky, Pt. 2,” although Cam has been promoting it under the name “Do The Dusky.” The entire rollout serves as a blend of a diss record and a dance challenge, focusing entirely on publicly humiliating Dame in the most overt manner possible. Cam has announced a giveaway of $1,500 for the best individual dancer and $3,000 for the best group of three or more who can successfully perform the “Dusky Dance.” The winners will be revealed in the final May episode of his show “Talk With Flee.” He also held Dame accountable in the promo.
“Yo Dame, you should enter; you probably have the best chance to win,” Cam wrote on IG. “I understand that you require the funds.”
The preview clip that Cam shared established the mood. Dame was depicted dancing, accompanied by edited footage of homeless individuals and those without teeth integrated into the visuals. The final detail was a clear allusion to Dame’s teeth losing their grip during a live appearance and the eye patch he was required to don following recent surgery. Cam targeted every vulnerable area, including Dame’s financial situation.
“Hawaiian suit Dusko goes crazy,” Cam wrote in the caption for the rollout. “We are going to #DoTheDusky all summer.”
For those who may not be aware, Cam and Dame have been embroiled in a long-standing feud, but tensions escalated significantly after 50 Cent revealed in 2025 that he had obtained the rights to “Paid in Full,” the 2002 film produced by Dame. Fif announced his intention to adapt it into a TV series, appointing Cam, who portrayed Rico in the original, as the executive producer. That one action drove an already fragile relationship beyond the possibility of mending.
Dame has been communicating on his end ever since.
He has been criticizing Cam for his decision to become a sportscaster on “It Is What It Is,” questioning the rekindled friendship with Ma$e, and labeling the entire reunion as a mere cash grab. Cam has been delivering his own sharp remarks, notably questioning Kevin Hart about Dame during a recent interview that gained widespread attention. The recent “Dusky” rollout marked the moment Cam chose to end the conversation.
Dame swiftly responded with a sharp retort. He jumped onto Instagram and headed directly for Cam’s mouth.
“Observe Fredo, also known as Cheap Teeth @mr_camron, serenading another man. It might be wise to refrain from mentioning my name and return to discussing sweaty men for a living,” he stated. He has been consistently using his “fly n***as don’t talk about sweaty men” line for weeks, even daring Cam to a teeth-off, asserting that his dentist has more Ferraris.
The history is what truly makes this whole situation remarkable. Dame and Cam are both natives of Harlem who grew up together. Dame introduced Cam to Roc-A-Fella in 2001, and the subsequent “Come Home With Me” period produced cultural classics such as “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma.” That run established Cam as one of the leading artists on the label and contributed to the transformation of Dipset into a significant movement. The same two men who created that history are now engaging in a public feud, using diss tracks, dental jokes, and dance challenges instead of keeping their differences private.
Cam has attempted to present the situation as one that ought to have remained confidential. Regarding “The Danza Project,” he expressed that Dame has “done so much” for him and that he is “forever grateful” for the Roc-A-Fella shot. He expressed that his main concern is that Dame continually brings the issues online, which he believes undermines their private discussions and escalates the conflict publicly. With Cam transforming the beef into an entire song complete with a viral dance and a cash prize, that opportunity has clearly passed.
Now everyone is eager to find out if Dame will respond with his record or if he will limit himself to comments on Instagram. Regardless, “Dusky, Pt. 2” has been released, the Dusky Dance challenge is active until May 31, and two of Harlem’s most legendary figures are embroiled in a conflict that seems to have no resolution in sight.
