Former United manager Ferguson hospitalized following health scare at Old Trafford
Alex Ferguson, the former manager of Manchester United, has been hospitalized after experiencing discomfort prior to the Premier League match between United and Liverpool on Sunday, according to media reports.
The 84-year-old attended the match at Old Trafford between the two rivals.
Sky Sports reported that Ferguson was alert and underwent precautionary checks before being swiftly transported.
Ferguson, who led United from 1986 until his retirement in 2013, secured 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies during a remarkable 26-year tenure at the club.
He lifted a total of 38 trophies with United.
A spokesperson for United stated that the club was unable to provide comments regarding Ferguson’s status.
Ferguson frequently attends United’s home games and possesses a row of seats in the Old Trafford directors’ box.
