Atlético Madrid has reached a £40 million agreement to acquire Ademola Lookman from Atalanta

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has arrived in Madrid for a medical examination after Atlético finalized a £35 million fee, along with additional bonuses, following a late decision on Saturday night.

Atlético Madrid have successfully secured a full agreement to acquire Nigerian international Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, with all details now finalized.

The Spanish club is set to pay a base fee of €35m, along with an additional €5m in add-ons, bringing the overall total to €40m. The agreement was finalized following pivotal discussions on Saturday night.

Lookman has also reached an agreement on personal terms for a long-term contract, removing the last obstacle for the transfer to move forward.

Atlético is currently organizing the player’s travel plans and medical tests, which are anticipated to occur soon, in preparation for the official finalization of the transfer.
