The official gazette revealed on Friday that Tunisian President Kais Saied has prolonged the ongoing state of emergency for an additional 11 months, now set to last until December 31.
The North African nation has remained in a state of emergency since 2015 following an attack that resulted in the deaths of several presidential guards.
