A woman from Ecuador lost her job after posting a little video of Lionel Messi, which she had made just to please a close friend who was a fan of the Argentinean player.
Although the video went viral, her employer dismissed her right after because they believed she should never have taped or released it. Online indignation over the incident was swift and intense, particularly after the football page Instant Foot shared the tale and denounced the ruling as unjust.
The woman shared her sorrow on Instagram, but she also expressed hope for better times to come. The gesture ultimately cost her her job, she disclosed, adding that she merely wanted to fulfill her friend’s wish of being greeted by Messi.
Additionally, she expressed gratitude to the hundreds of individuals who sent encouraging words from all around the world, stating, “God’s timing is perfect, something better is coming my way.” Many now expect that Lionel Messi himself will recognize the issue or provide her some assistance.
