Tekashi 6ix9ine says masked men broke into his house looking for money and held his mother at gunpoint
Four armed robbers broke into Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida house on Sunday night, allegedly holding the rapper’s mother against her will.
The “Fefe” rapper has been on house arrest after entering a guilty plea to assaulting a man, and he still has a lot of legal issues.
However, Tekashi 6ix9ine broke his probation when police confiscated cocaine and ecstasy from his house.
The home of Tekashi 6ix9ine in Florida was reportedly raided by gunmen.
Four armed guys reportedly broke into Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida home with the intention of stealing his money and car keys.
TMZ claims that the terrible event happened on Sunday night, but the controversial rapper was live-streaming with influencer Jack Doherty, thus he was not present.
As the other armed guys entered to loot the property, reports indicate his 60-year-old mother was detained outside at gunpoint.
The rapper’s home was the scene of a home invasion and a robbery/burglary in progress, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, which notified the news source.
When they got there, they tried to collect information from a few people who were nearby, and they were told that the men were armed with handguns and were wearing masks.
The suspects drove off before the police arrived, therefore they were not found despite a special K-9 unit being used by law enforcement to search the premises.
The rapper broke the probationary rules.
Since becoming famous, the “Gooba” rapper has been a source of controversy and has been arrested for a variety of offenses, including drug use, gang connection, and assault.
A federal judge in 2019 sentenced him to two years in prison for entering a guilty plea and assisting the government in getting some of his former gang members in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods convicted.
Since then, a lot of online users have called Tekashi (born Daniel Hernandez) a “snitch” and are afraid that he and his family will face some kind of reprisal or vengeance.
When he admitted to punching a man who made fun of him for testifying against his own group, the 29-year-old rapper got into some problems back in August for breaking the terms of his probation.
According to prosecutor Jonathan Rebold, the victim made fun of the rapper for coming forward with the information before he attacked them in a mall in Florida.
“Me and another individual hit a person, and it was wrong,” he told Judge Paul Engelmeyer, according to the New York Post.
After that, Tekashi was put on supervised release under an ankle monitor.
Attorney for Tekashi 6ix9ine Applauded the Choice to Keep Him Out of Prison
According to court documents, the “Gummo” musician was ordered to follow home confinement with an electronic monitor, but was allowed to leave the house for court-mandated appearances, religious services, and medical and mental health therapy. This information was reported by TMZ.
Lance Lazzaro, his attorney, hailed the decision to keep him out of jail in an interview with NBC News.
“I think the judge made the right call just for the fact that he’s pending sentence, it would have been too drastic of a remedy to put him in jail,” Lazzaro claimed.
He went on to say that the man was “taunting him and threatening to kill him and harm his family and calling him a rat,” not his client, who started the altercation.
“He went to a mall with his family, and a person who had a gun threatened him and called him a snitch and started a whole situation,” Lazzaro explained. “He has to live every day with people doing stupid things to him and provoking him, which clearly was the case here.”
