The renowned American hotel chain Hilton opens a location in Kigali
In Sub-Saharan Africa, Hilton, a leading American hospitality corporation, has announced the launch of its lifestyle brand, “Tapestry Collection by Hilton,” after entering into a contract with Zaria Court Kigali.
With each stay supported by the certainty of the Hilton name and the acclaimed ‘Hilton Honors’ program, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a collection of unique, high-end hotels that appeal to travelers looking for dependability and value in their travel options.
Further to Kigali’s offerings for both business and pleasure travelers, the hotel will be situated adjacent to BK Arena and will have a rooftop club, pool, co-working area, and sports bar.
Hospitality Net, an international business-to-business online resource for the hotel and hospitality industry, claims that Hilton is a top US-based global hospitality company with a portfolio of 22 world-class brands that include nearly 7,300 properties and more than 1.1 million rooms across 123 countries and territories.
The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) claims that Hilton’s investment promotes local employment, improved visitor experiences, and a diverse portfolio of lodging options while also reflecting the country’s rising confidence as a travel and hospitality destination.
Designed by Masai Ujiri’s Zaria Group, the US National Basketball Association (NBA) champion, Zaria Court Kigali will be the first property in Rwanda for the international hospitality company, which is set to open later this year.
The hotel is close to Kigali’s BK Arena and Amahoro Stadium, which host major sporting events, international concerts, and conferences. It is also only fifteen minutes from Kigali International Airport and is surrounded by well-known eateries, bars, shops, and sports courts.
An independent hotel management business in the Middle East and Africa, Aleph Hospitality, will oversee the facility in Rwanda.
Hilton now runs 64 hotels around Africa, and it plans to open an additional 106 soon.
