Nadia Mukami Honors Unmarried Mothers With A New Song Inspired By Jackie Matubia

The peaceful song “Single Mother,” a new socially aware standalone single by smooth crooner Nadia Mukami, honors women who raise children alone. 

Mukami claims that the actress Jackie Matubia, who recently made news for sharing stories about her interactions with her daughter’s supposed deadbeat father, Blessing Lung’aho, served as the inspiration for the new song. 

The song details the common difficulties faced by single mothers, including their constant accusations, mockery, and insults despite their commitment to raising their children alone. The plot then takes a turn as the mother finds love again and the children grow up in love, succeed in school, and achieve success.

For days on end, Matubia was the focus of numerous think pieces after her supporters disagreed with the notion that she was too preoccupied with the tale of her second baby daddy leaving their daughter.
