According to reports, Hailey, 28, played a key role in motivating Justin to “follow his artistic instincts.” The 31-year-old singer shocked fans by releasing his first solo album in almost four years.

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Hailey worked alongside Justin throughout the album’s development. Justin is a well-known performer and star. The artist Hailey has known for years is now introduced to them.

Hailey encouraged Justin to pursue his creative passions. She encouraged him to believe in himself and pursue his artistic goals.

By selecting the musicians and producers Justin worked with and establishing a more “stripped-down” aesthetic, Hailey is also thought to have encouraged Justin to “run his own show.”

Justin is reportedly enjoying the opportunity to finally have creative control over his first album since splitting from longtime manager Scooter Braun, 44.

According to an insider who spoke to Rolling Stone, Justin has long desired to break away from Scooter Braun and his crew. Now that he is completely free, he can finally share this record with his fans and the world. 

Unfortunately, for him as an artist, having complete creative freedom is a novel experience. He was able to produce his best body of work to date since he was not burdened by the pressure to write the ideal single or album.

In 2023, Justin and Braun, both 44, ended their business partnership after almost 15 years of collaboration.
