R. Kelly’s lawsuit against Tasha K is dismissed once more

A Judge Denies a Claim Regarding Leaked Jail Records

R. Kelly just suffered yet another legal setback. A judge dismissed his most recent attempt to sue blogger Tasha K, ruling that there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

According to Kelly, Tasha K obtained confidential jail information and made it public. According to his legal team, the government was even blamed for the records being leaked to her. The judge, however, wasn’t persuaded. The court ruled that there was insufficient evidence to support the story.

For a long time, this legal back and forth has been going on. This latest action further closes the case, as earlier claims were already dismissed.

Kelly is currently serving a 31-year sentence for heinous offenses, such as sexually abusing children. It is anticipated that his release will occur in the early 2050s.

Don’t be surprised if his attorneys continue to press, even if this case is currently over. Although they have been putting in a lot of effort to find a legal victory, the courts have not yet sided with them.
