Morocco’s telecoms regulator says it is seeking bids for a 5G network

Morocco’s telecoms regulator, ANRT, announced on Friday that it is accepting bids for licenses to deploy and run 5G network services.

The Moroccan government wants to have 25% of the population with 5G by 2026 and 70% by 2030, when it will co-host the World Cup alongside Portugal and Spain.
