Gene Deal scolds King Combs for acting cocky outside of court after Diddy was found guilty
Christian Combs receives criticism for his stunts, as his father faces severe jail time.
Gene Deal didn’t like it when Christian “King” Combs came out at the wrong moment.
In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, the ex-bodyguard expressed his disapproval of King Combs for his raucous behavior outside the courthouse immediately following Diddy’s conviction.
Deal claimed that Christian was performing push-ups without a shirt and acting like a clown for the cameras as if it were a party.
Deal characterized that as clown behavior. He was clear that it could backfire to play tough for the media. “He might be given more time for his antics by the judge outside of court.”
Diddy has serious legal issues. Although the more serious allegations were withdrawn, he was found guilty of transporting women for prostitution, a conviction that carries a jail sentence. Deal stated that, particularly when sentence is quickly approaching, this is not the time to act ostentatious.
Deal found Christian’s intensity unsettling and questioned the performance’s mentality.
“You’re not a mobster. You have no idea what a gangster is. He said, “You’re a prankster,” and that Christian didn’t appear to understand what his father was actually facing.
Diddy’s bail plea was denied by a court on July 2, and he is still in custody. Prior to sentence, which is scheduled for October 2, he won’t be free. He is supposed to serve at least 85% of the sentence, no matter what.
Deal also alluded to Christian’s sense of invincibility due to his father’s wealth, but cautioned that once reality settles in, self-confidence could blow up in his face.
