The DRC captain, Chantel Mbamba, is tempted by the offer from Paris FC
Chancel Mbemba, who hasn’t had a contract since leaving Olympique de Marseille, is drawing new attention in the transfer market. As he thinks about his future move, the Congolese international, who most recently led DR Congo to a 3-1 victory over Madagascar, is still mentally and physically keen.
Chancel Mbemba started 11 of his national team’s last 12 games, maintaining elite form despite playing little in his last year at OM.
“My story ends on the 30th, but I’m hoping Marseille will get defenders better than me.” I honored my contract and the club. My health is a gift from God. My body hasn’t let me down. I’m at full strength. I’ve put a lot of effort into staying as high as I can. “The journey will go on,” he declared.
Paris FC, who were just promoted, reportedly made an early offer for the seasoned center-back. The capital club views Mbemba as a leader who can stabilize their defense and hopes to add seasoned Ligue 1 players to their roster. According to reports, Paris FC is prepared to pay Mbemba a high price in order to sign him after already pursuing Moses Simon.
However, patience will be essential. Mbemba, who is 30 years old and has 85 caps for his country, is still cautious and is leaving his options open. The former FC Porto player is aware that being a free agent provides him negotiating leverage and is not in a rush to commit, even though clubs in the Gulf and throughout Europe are also anticipated to show interest.
