Manchester United is pursuing Bryan Mbumo with a bid of €70 million

Manchester United has stepped up their efforts to sign Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo, reportedly putting in a new proposal of around €70 million for the talented Cameroon international, according to reports.

The Red Devils view Mbeumo as a crucial member of Amorim’s team and are committed to bolstering their offense before the upcoming campaign. The West London club rejected an earlier offer of £45 million plus £10 million in performance-related bonuses before accepting United’s most recent offer, which exceeds £60 million.

According to reports, Brentford is evaluating United’s updated offer and values Mbeumo at approximately £65 million. United is eager to complete the transfer before the start of their preseason campaign, and talks between the two Premier League clubs are still underway.

Mbeumo, 24, has combined pace, technical skill, and a goal-scoring eye to become one of the most reliable wide forwards in the English top division. Due to his impressive performances for Brentford and the Cameroon national team, he has become highly sought after by a number of elite clubs.

However, Manchester United seems to be in the lead after making their most recent bid, which now shows genuine ambition. The transfer is in line with the team’s offseason plan to restructure their front line and add individuals who can improve their aggressiveness.

In order to bring Mbeumo to Old Trafford in time for the team’s international tour, United is working hard to settle terms as the preseason draws near.
